How to apply ?

The assistance is unique: $ 1,000 CAD paid every 2 weeks, regardless of the salary you earn. You can receive this benefit for 26 weeks, ie 13 two-week periods available.

IMPORTANT : This given sum is gross. According to the government site on a total of $ 2,000 per month, you have to withdraw $ 200 to get after tax. So the net aid is $ 1,800 per month.

Deadline to submit a PCRE application: September 25, 2021.

Emergency aid or employment insurance?

If the emergency aid is higher than Employment Insurance (EI) based on the calculation, then you are entitled to apply for CRB instead. For those wishing to apply for EI, it is here (having contributed enough hours in insurable employment).
